Welcome to my world of art!
Thirty years ago, a neighbor’s simple suggestion changed my life. I was struggling—alcohol had too strong a grip on me—but she encouraged me to pick up a paintbrush. What started as an experiment quickly became a passion, a lifeline. Oh, and by the way—30 years sober and counting.
Bob Ross was a huge influence on my journey, inspiring me to embrace creativity with joy and confidence. My early paintings were filled with lighthouses and beach scenes, but over time, my artistic vision expanded—portraits, landscapes, animals—all brought to life with acrylics and colored pencils. Each piece carries a part of my story, a lasting impression of the world as I see it.
Beyond painting, I have a deep love for classic cars, car shows, and exploring the fascinating history of the Civil War. After three years of retirement, I spend much of my time doing what I love—creating art that sparks emotion, nostalgia, and connection.
