http://I paint from my hands and my heart. Each piece is raw, intuitive, and emotionally honest expression of my heart and soul. My work channels energy, memory, movement, and spirit. I don’t paint what I see, I paint what I feel. My emotions, my expressions of the moment. I love Earth, Water, Sky……my pieces range from “dirt” colors to bright vibrant colors of the Southwest. I’ve grown up in Houston, and live close to the Gulf Coast, where I love to “Skywatch”…..clouds rapidly rising in the summer sun, changing weather atmospheres, and rainfall. It might be a summer shower, the dense humidity, or even storms and hurricanes. It seems my Gulf Coast weather is always being expressed on a canvas in my studio somewhere. I paint for joy and healing….. I love to create decorative arts that add warm welcoming comfort to our sacred places where we live and work. Most of all, I love using my creative gifts to connect to my Divine Source and power.
